#1 Mashed Barn Find Austin Healey 3000 Still in Barn

"Here doggie, here doggie" Mud dobbers and about 20 years of dirt and mold cover this 1960 BN7. Remarkably the car has only surface rust. A tree fell on it years ago after the owner died. Then it found sanctuary in this lovely barn. It was originally Healey blue. The second layer of paint appears to have protected the metal. Floors and undercarriage are solid. It had a wierd sea foam green motor and engine components. Peolple say that is not an original color yet I have seen other Healeys with engines the same color. It now has the standard engine color.

OK its a Sprite. That makes sense. $600 is probably what it is worth but not worth investing money into.

You are a year late to the party. If you'd take the time to attend a large car auction, like Barrett-Jackson, you'll see restored Healeys that are amazing restorations that have over $50,000 invested and hundreds of hours of work into them. At the auction they end up getting $18,000 max. Do the math... I think there are some morons who collect cars.

WORTH IT! Take a trailer. Send me photos and I'll give a look over for you. Any Healey 3000 can be worth good money in any condition. Running is a huge plus. Rot is the worst problem and very difficult to sort. Good luck
