  • Go Na Li!!!!!

  • @HenryDavidT She means "I hope". Many chinese who speak English as a second language can't quite grasp the subtle difference between hope and wish because most English to Chinese dictionaries define them both as "I desire". I know because I speak Chinese too

  • Li did indeed win chinas first grand slam singles...first Grand slam in doubles was won in 2006 by Yan Zi and Zheng Jie..in 2006 in australia!

  • @HenryDavidT She didn't mean "I wish" sarcastically, she meant it at face value. It's like if a Asian person says to you: "You know very well", they are usually admiring your knowledge of a place or thing. Whereas if an English-speaker says that, they are usually being sarcastic.

  • she does not look tall when she is on the tennis court becos the other female players are taller. she is 1.72 meters tall which is tall for a chinese woman.

  • @zakuzen true.. Michael Chang is of Chinese origin, but his nationality is American... Li Na is the first from Asian countries.

  • She make it 4 month later in French Open!

  • @gt198gtr, not true, michael chang was the first asian. however Li Na is the first chinese female ever to reach the grand slam finales and winning them.

  • She is the best!!!!!

  • China is also good at boxing and fencing.

  • @HenryDavidT u r too picky man!! see how it goes when u speak a foreign language and let the native speaker judge you.
