The Lisbon treaty/constitution's "citizens initiative" shows us what post-democratic Europe will look like...a million EU "citizens" will be "allowed" to gather 1 million signatures and present this petition to the UN-ELECTED COMMISSION who are under no obligation whatsoever to do anything about it !
This is how far democracy has sunk in once democratic Europe....Gerge Orwell must be turning in his grave.
Now only Ireland can save us.
