hi, do you see any change in exhaust smoke or engine power? Will such an oil catch can help on a 1996 Terrano 2 with TD27T engine? Thanks.

@gabrielronai,
Definitely no change.
The EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve let part of the exhaust gases to enter the intake manifold. Crank case ventilation system let the blow-by gases to enter the intake manifold in order to burn the oil vapors. The soot of the exhaust gases mixed with oil vapors form a layer of oily soot on the inner walls of the manifold restricting fresh air supply. Oil Catch Can only stops the process of layer forming.

@gabrielronai,
To improve the engine performance you have to open the intake manifold and clean it with solvent, gasoline, etc.

Is the one hose not connected so that the fuses are left in the atmosphere?

@psyxo69,
No. Oil Catch Can "cuts" the hose connecting the crank case and intake manifold. It only removes the oil. No other changes. Everything is legal.
