@Mirthless79 how many mpg you get? some peoples view of good are different. like me i drive a motorcycle, so good is 70mpg. im thinking about buying one for 300 b4 it gets scrapped. it runs, if that counts for anything

i love the 305 but they always have oil burning problem and i always kept it maitained

@DbSGuild yeah the 327 is way better 275 hp to 325 hp underated motor lol insurance companies messed that up anway the 305 only has 185 hp to much smog shit !

I have a 305 in a 91 t top camaro, dads got a 327 in his 86 though, a bit nicer in my opinion

305 is a good dependable motor but not really a hard hittin muscle motor. if they breathe though, they aint too bad. i really like the 350 because so much can be done to it to make it a really nasty small block

at the wheels? well still if not that's about 1.2... per cube. you can't bitch about that, and it is funny how much 300-ish is at the wheels really. i've had my share of 600 hps, so i got room. i had a 305 in a 62 Chevy II and i was eating 350's and bigger motors up, yea it only weighted 2800/2960 but that was still an ego blow, and i was doggin it and only slacked out the timing chain at the end. note it was nothing to that 360 replacement but good for a first motor

same here gotta 305 in my 78 regal and i love it yeah it would be nice to have a 350 but im happy with it. check it out, please comment.
