Actually there is a TON of testing going on and the drivers, maintainers, instructors, ACAT... have been participating in the development of the train since the beginning. There has been a lot of feedback and improvements along the way and all problems are addressed by Bombardier, even after the cars go into service. The first train was running at the Kingston test facility for a full year before any were shipped to Toronto to begin testing there.

There are 2 cab cars, one at each end of the train. The driver goes in this leading train and the guard (who controls the doors) goes in the trailing cab. Each one has their own "compartment" but now they are at the ends of the train - no more middle spot.

@erichau728 MTR's K-stock trains in Hong Kong were actually made by Mitsubishi and Hyundai Rotem, but they do look a lot like the Toronto Rockets, which are based on Bombardier's Movia design and made by Bombardier.

@erichau728 - The TTC is a dinosaur, crumbling to dust because of inadequate funding from all levels of government, bickering among those levels of government, & a stubborn refusal to replace its archaic fare system.
Tokens & paper tickets & transfers were abandoned decades ago by every major (and many minor) transit systems around the world. The TTC continues to lose millions due to fare evasion & fraud from customers & its own fare-sellers, because it won't automate fare sales & collection.

Are these in service now?
