A secular version of this contemplative style, oxymoron aside, can be experienced in Simon and Garfunkel's Live Concert performance of Scarborough Fare. I like the musical video ronakosu posted.
I appreciate the contemplative musical style rendered here. Let the spirit dwell in the brief moments of silence and experience peace. Maybe it takes three of four repeats to get there. Took me two.
What a pleasant surprise to find this video again. As soothing as it felt when I first heard it three years ago. Thank you for sharing.

Lovely hymn, especially for advent. I'm just wondering why there were pauses between lines. I've never heard it sung like this before.
