Hey Don't forget you are the atheist. You have put much thought in to what you perceive as reality. If you don't include all your atheist friends and atheist community you will find that there are a lot of people who still believe in "God". Well this was a redundant statement but it serves my point. 1 in 6 is a generalization and yet at the same time it is a reality where I live.

Ah, but even then, you would agree that generalizing atheists is also wrong, wouldn't you? Just because something is common practice, it doesn't make it right. That's why we are free thinkers, that's why we question things without blindly following them (or at least we should).

Being a former Catholic, I had to learn in a very long and sometimes painful progress to question things instead of simply accepting them, else I'd still be a devout Catholic to this day.

@FelidaTheGeek I am assuming you are a freethinker :) that was the only thing i was generalizing between you and I.. I was a Catholic too. I was liberated by Evidence based reasoning. Believe it or not.

It was not tf00t that converted me btw. It was CDK007. His science vids. Tf00t was there to hammer away all the little questions along with Zomgitscriss, patcondel, coughlan666 and others too. I am not a fan-boy of tf00t I only wish for him to not be repulsed away from YOUTUBE <3

I thinks it ok that thunderf00t puts this guy, coughlan, to school.

Once i thought coughlan was an ok guy. But i had posted a couple of messages under his videos where i was critical of him. And all of the sudden i am blocked - just for disagreeing with him - or atleast that is what i think i was blocked for. Because i dont know. I just said that radical islam is the biggest threat to civilization - i have the right to say that.

I am glad to hear you voice your support. Fuck Richard the Bunghole Coughlin. By the way he carries himself he most likely does have a serious personality disorder. So what if he is a fellow atheist? The fact that he defends Islam is beyond pathetic. So too is the cult of personality behind him. @chivaking it sucks that so many of tf00t haters are other non-theists. I mean wtf did thunderf00t do wrong in his whole crusade against Islamic intolerance? Sure he made some factual errors and over generalizations of Muslim people (but no lies about Islam itself) but why the hell should he be tolerant to intolerance?

I agree it's great to be a Tfoot supporter, I am.

But if you really want to further the cause it's good to know why you support his arguements and have points of your own to do so.

It's a little bit heavier lifting but worth it if you really want to make a dint in the general consensus of the youtube community.

Nor do I. What I would love to see though is him actually going back to what I originally subscribed to him for, logic and reason. Unfortunately he's not been applying either lately in most of his videos, which makes me sad. I think a lot of us were hoping he would listen to reason, we tried for some time now. :(
