  • it depends on your priorities. powerlifters do what they do because they love it. same with bodybuilders. there are many sports that have a high rate of injury. its not that the athletes don't know or care. They accpet the risk but do what they do because of passions. Some people like painting pictures. Others like driving cars really fast. OTHER people like lifting really heavy weight. If you don't share the love or passion for it then don't attempt to understand it.

  • I've definitely learned a lot just from reading a lot of the stuff that louie has put out there on the internet. Thanks for all the great articles and videos! They're definitely helpful -- I just wish there were more people around my area who are into this...

  • @MarkIVFilms In a warehouse in Columbus, Ohio homeslice

  • I started this training style back when I was 15 160lbs & a 575 total after seeing their 6 page story in FLEX lol. Took me to a 1305 raw total @19y/o 235lbs. Not a lot, but for my age its up there I think. Thanks to Louie's modified conjugate method! These videos are awesome for motivation. (Bench=315 Squat=475 Deadlift=515)

  • @anoakes92 right, cause a lean 180 is fat.. no need to rage on me. I have nothing against this form of training, absolutely nothing. if I could put on the weight they do I would

  • @coudu8ed none of them are fat you piece of shit, besides they would rip you in half

  • @coudu8ed your an idiot

  • @coudu8ed they aint really fat... they have huge bellies but are trained to do so. their abdominals are really strong and the whole point of powerlifting is to lift as much weight as you can at the smallest body weight. so if they were all fat and water then they would be heavy.
