Will.i.am, Nas, Cee-Lo, Natalie Cole, Brazilian Girls, TV On The Radio, The Roots and many more lend their spectacular artistry to re-imagine the genius of Nat King Cole.

  • Well I bought the CD immediately after hearing Amazon mp3 samples this extraordinary remix.

Subwoofer frequencies weren't reproducible on the majority of home audio back when Nat King Cole was kickin' on vinyl. Just be glad it ain't that metronomic disco crap.

Now they need to juice up and remix Stan Kenton's Big Band numbers starting with "Intermission Riff". Beef up that boppin' trombone riff. Make it loud!

    God! I love digital technology.

  • will.i.am should stay away from music.. nuff said

  • If it wasn't for this record I wouldn't have got into Nat so much. And yes, I like the original versions. Even other artists like Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, and Dinah Washington.

  • If anything(answering to the people blindly hating on this project) this is introducing several new generations to Nat King Cole's beautiful music APART from his one and only Christmas song and "Unforgettable".

When it comes to music not many are more of a purist than I am, but its GOOD MUSIC, its not like they are robbing him and just sampling it, he IS the project, if you actually listening to what was being said on this video you'd know this instead of trolling just to bash it.

  • @aknowneemus you're a moron.

  • @aknowneemus you can probably calm down a bit, big guy. the original music is still there. this was a pretty cool project and its in tune with a new generation of music. i personally think its sick, and its just a bunch of hip hop musicians experimenting and having a good time. theres no need to freak out about it.

  • Gotta agree with you (pupose408). I gotta say some things, IMO, don't really mix to well but someone likes it. Who are we to say it sucks.

  • @aknowneemus you can't be serious...me as a jazz singer...and as an avid soul and hip hop head...It's the very reason why hip hop exists today...you wouldnt know music if your face was shaped like a treble clef

  • If i was in charge of nats music, i wouldn't let these IDIOTS anywhere near nat's music!

It's widely known natalie did this to pay for her kidney transplant.

she says "they messed with my dad's music big time"

    no shit !

I feel sorry for nat king coles music portfolio.

"if dad were here today,he'd have a heart attack "

    dumbed down.

  • Aw this is quite nice. If Nat were still with us, he'd be there in the studio with these very artists bringing the new flavor to music. He was a genius who was ahead of his time and gone way too soon. I'm glad that Natalie is here to help bridge the music of her dad with today's flavor. Mad props!!
