    No, it is a sign that he is an attention whore pandering to nostalgic arseholes for thumbs up. This isn't that old of a song, songs like these are still produced in their masses and the audience for them is only growing. Rock isn't dead, it's just not the most popular style right now. And guess what, that's fine as well! Not everyone likes the same music, that does not make them fucked up. So instead of whining about society, open your eyes! We are living in the golden age of music and media!
