Cadbury the Cottontail Rabbit - 9 Weeks Old

Cadbury is now 9 weeks old and is doing great. He gets out of his cage every day for some exercise, and one can always tell when he is happy as he does the "happy bunny hop" (jumps in the air and twists). This short video just shows a portion of his exercise time.

How many pounds does he weigh?

@suiteangel45 Cadbury is just under 3 pounds and is doing well at just over a year old now.

You can tell Cadbury is very happy! The little hops are "binkies". You have a very special "little one" for sure!

Thanks for the comment. Cadbury is certainly a happy bunny, and the video picked that up pretty well. He has been a lot of fun so far, and I hope he turns out as well as your Melvin did.

Cadbury is beginning to use a litter box in his cage to pee in. But I think it will be a few more months before he catches on to the concept completely.

i just caught a little bunny today my dog almost got it i saved the poor thing from gettin chowed down i have in a plastic box with grass water lettuce and cut up carrots i read online i should let it go but i fear its saftey what should i do, since you own one?
