Brian & Melanie Johnson are newly weds. They both do various types of art. Brian is more of the craftsman and Melanie does magnificent peices of jewelry. They both are painters as well. You can find their works at Ultra Art Studios where currently Brian Johnson is displaying his embodiment of a work called 'Spirit'. This is a great name for this work because often it is the spirit that guides us to creative enlightenment. After taking a look at these peices I'm sure you soon will agree as well. Simplicity meets the soul. And you may have to line up to get your Spirit collection peice. So make sure you place your order as soon as possible while supplies last.

  • Thanks for the comments, and much thanks to friend Marques for the composition.

My pieces are finished with food safe oils and waxes or shellac if the piece is intended for moisture resistance- like my 3" prep bowls. You can wash wood items, but soap strips oils from the wood and so you need to reapply mineral oil, walnut oil, or another food safe oil regularly. Salad/popcorn/snack bowls are easy, wipe with a paper towel and you're done. The oils in the food protect the wood.

  • Very nice. Do the bowls and dishes wash up easy and retain their looks, or are they mostly decorative? (I'm a food guy ;')

  • voww nice video
