@TylerLombardi - We also have a right to vote & call our local 'reps' to voice our opinions about where our tax dollars should go. I mean come on, if you can afford to live in those luxury buildings, then you can afford to foot the bill and don't need the guy who makes $70K a year & still can't afford to live there to pay for it. You're right, we are strong, we don't have to hand over our hard earned money to some gluttonous pig. Fight back, and protect your money, your home and your city!

if you can't afford to live in the city, you have no RIGHT to live in the city. You have a right to live, and to purse happiness. Sometimes that pursuit takes you to a place where you can afford that pursuit. Sometimes it's not where you want to go, but where you have to go. Adapt and make due. You are strong enough.

Tyler, You haven't seen the movie so you don't know what you are talking about really. We agree with you, but at the same time most people don't know that over $500 million a year has been dolled out in tax subsidies for luxury development. Also 1 out of every 6 square feet was rezoned to allow luxury building. I think it's ironic that we the middle class tax payers are paying for our own displacement. Come see the movie tonight at 8pm at the Harlem Int'l Film Festival.
