Guys, I understand the Perlman Vs. Vengerov 'Absolutely EXACT' debate. I ADORE Perlman but Vengerov's my favourite because he IS a lil' goblin during this. I don't need them to enjoy, but the faces crack me up. It's infectious, which is part of good music. I'd be no good in a live audience because I tend to suffer Awesome Overload & start laughing out loud. He's good. He knows it. Just opinions, but M.V.'s decidedly cheeky interpretation of a number of show-pieces make me smile widest.

I couldnt help but laugh at the faces he was making but so far i love the music. It's atcually natural for violinist to make faces like that but i also did that too at my concerts, it just happens when you get into the music thats all. :D

To those who say that Maxin looks like a fool:
Ive been playing violin for 8 years and seriously, if you want to play such a masterpiece or any other and you want to shock your public, music has to be transferred from the very deep of your heart passing from your brain directly to your arms and then to your fingertips.
Those feelings are the explanation to all the faces hi puts. He is not fool.
HE IS JUST OPENING HIS HEART TO US!!!

I'm going to be one of those people that says he looks like a fool with all those faces. I love Alfred Brendel and he has a similar sort of problem. It's very distracting. I shouldn't have to close my eyes so I can hear beautiful musix. Good job Verngerov, you're the man.. but stop it with the faces damnit.
