@gugan: Thanks for the feedback. My commentary is based on the animation video. Even the bike speed is faster than the cut lane vehicle, it is safer to remain on the same lane. Unless clearance is for sure in such a short time. Give'em a brake is always a rule of thumb for safety. Don't give a chance for those blind(selfish) drivers to hurt you. Safe Driving!

Using brake to reduce speed is safer than changing lane is not always the best option stupid! The video don't give enough information on how close the car that change lane is to the bike. The bike may be going faster than the car that change lane therefore there is not enough time and space for the bike to use brake to stop. This often happens to me too because cars can't see bikes and there are lots of 'blind' drivers on the road.
