Try to sharpened it with 30 degree angle. It will cut bottle easily .

I was going to sharpen it and then do a second video as a reply to show the difference between a blunt and a sharp blade, but never got around to it.

A friend of mine and I got a piece of iron measuring about 3'x3"x1/4" and we were able to cut through a milk jug with that.
Cutting is all about the psi, also milk jugs are really soft.

Give it a good edge and it should slice through like butter. I've seen someone cut ten water bottles in half with a KABAR combat knife, so you should be able to cut one bottle. Also, use a BIG bottle, the inertia will give the blade time to slice through instead of throwing the bottle across the yard.

I always use small bottles when doing test cuts because it gives a better idea of how the weapon cuts.
