Michael Shanks: "But make sure he comes back because if after all these years on SG1, you kill me and I die for good...I'm gonna find ya."

Audience: "So will we..."

MS: "Wouldn't that just bite. To go through all that on SG1 and then guest star on Atlantis and die there."

A: "Well you always wanted to be there."

MS: "Yeah...but ya know...A wraith comes over, some wraith named Jeff comes over and sucks the life out of ya. There's a climax for ya, huh? How many of you guys watch Atlantis? Seriously, what's that show about? I'm not asking because I've watched and don't know...it's because I haven't watched it."

A: "You can get the DVD [reference to a previous joke]. [audience noise...can't make out] Just read the episode guides on gateworld. "

MS: "Gateworld...what's that?"

A: "[audience noise...can't make out] I can send it to you."

MS: "Oh..ok...please do...that's be great. Now see, she's helpful. The rest of you are just cruel and mocking. I ask for help and you make fun. I'll find out."

A: "Uh oh." [Timer lady just came out and told Shanks to close]

MS: "One more question...come on. Don't stand there like the harbinger of doom. Don't send my wife. Please don't send my wife. [Shanks' wife Lexa is behind stage waiting her turn]

I'm actually going to the convention in Chicago next Saturday and I get to meet him and Amanda Tapping...up till now I was yeah this is gonna be cool but now I'm kinda freaking. Getting the autographs and the photo opt done...what the f*ck do you say to someone like this without sounding like a complete idiot? Really?

MS is really cool at a convention. Most of the stars know you're really nervous and they are good at sometimes asking YOU questions to get you talking. I've never really freaked out except one time when I met James Callis (Baltar on BSG). I froze but he was so cool and got me talking again. Got my picture made with him at the autograph table at DragonCon Atlanta last year. You'll do fine!

I have watched this clip at least twenty to thirty times and every time I am laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes and my ribs are aching. If there were more guys like Miichael in the world . . . well, you'd have a lot more deleriously happy females but that's not the point. The world would be a much better place, that's the point. :P

Lunch was great but I was a bit overcome - I felt like a teenager again. Michael was very entertaining and looked spectacular in that suit, freshly shaved.  The banners were auctioned off when the hall was only quarter full but $600 was about the average. Mine of Daniel, bought Friday was about a third of that - I think I was very lucky and Michael personlised it well for me.

The side banners went around 500-750 if I remember right. The price depended on how many people were in the room.
