I also do a demo of "The Main Monkey Business" I'll be able to play a lot of Rush songs more accurately with this drum pad...not to mention use it with my own original band. Thanks again everyone for watching!

  • Could you give the corresponding Drum number to each of the eight pads". Does anyone else know? He won't answer me that question. I guess it has to be his big secret.

    Thanks, Fitz

  • I just sent you a message...I'm not trying to keep this a secret. I'm just really busy lately

  • Please, you have to post soon what that pattern is, I've been trying to figure it out for weeks, I think I almost have it, (which yes I assumed it was solely a paradiddle, and after playing it for a while, I found I was very much mistaken.) but it isn't quite clicking... Anyway, this would be very much appreciated. Your loyal sycophant, 91962.

  • @91962 I will post a video of that pattern Thanks! (Hint: it starts with LL)

  • Boring

  • Just curious, have u tried out the Diamondback china yet?

  • Hey Ray, awesome.

It would be great if you could find the time to post an update to this. All of your videos are great by the way. I would love to learn the notes for the pieces of eight pattern. I have the Octopad 30 and would be great to setup.

    Thx Scott

  • @snapascrew hahaha

  • @DWdrummer57 just a hunch

  • @snapascrew really? what makes you say that?

  • Nice Kit Man.....cool sounds too

  • You most be a big Neil fan

  • I really enjoy all your videos. Do you know of any GOOD left handed drummers on youtube? Thanks for your time and your posts.

  • eh dude thats a very nice kit and ur a very good drummer...might i suggest you get a drum rack :P it would make everything a lot easier lol

  • how did u get all the samples (sounds)?

  • do you custom build al of you drums from the dw factory?

  • are doubles rigth??? let me guess....LL RR KK LL RKL.. close??

  • @rays2112 As much I much as I feel like being humble and graciously accepting that you will post that pattern, I've got one more question... Where do you get those damn heads? It's like a dw secret head that isn't available anywhere. I looked through Guitar Center's entire line up of heads, both in the store, and online. They just don't exist besides on your's and Neil's set. That's all the bother I'll give you for now hahaha thanks.

  • Tubular bells whatever they call that stuff.

  • Man! So awesome you have those sounds available now. Go get some 1/2 inch plywood, collars to accept bottom sections of the stands, order some Roland pads and custom D dub shells to mount them in! Go for it! I was thinking it would be cool for Neil to bring back the big tube racks behind him for the tour!

  • WOW! That demo sounded just like his solo. Good work dude! You Rock!

  • you are a beast at drums

  • Nice, I wonder were they expensive? :)
