  • Zep was booed in TO - they vowed never to return to that dopey town that never recognizes what's in front of them. Toronto treated Rush the same way when they were just budding out. I've been to Paul Mc Cartney's concert and I couldn't believe the cold, aloof typical TO attitude, until Paul yelled, TORONTO! This is the only big city in the world with small town mentality.

  • Once again..another kick ass performance from my favorite band! Which month of 1971 was this recorded? I believe its in september but I just wanted a confirmation

  • @BeyondNeptune It's probably the same reason why Leafs suck so bad - no matter how bad they play, we have so many dopey fans that should demand better performance for our money

  • @gralith that's interesting. I didn't know that. I wonder why that is?

  • Led Zep only played Winnipeg once in 1970, would have loved have seen them later when I started going to conerts in 1975 but they never came back to the prairie city. The Stones and The Who came later on but Zep never did...............sigh our loss!

  • This is one of the first Zep songs that grabbed me. I love the way it switches from a slow night-clubby feeling, to rock, and then back again. Well done.

  • @QuickSilverStalin Zeppelin played Canada alot after 1971. 73, 75, Vancouver and Montreal with 2 shows in Vancouver in March 75. Better crowds on the west coast, better attitude, more fun. That goes with Montreal as well. The only thing T.O has going for it is its the biggest city in Canada. Whoopee

  • and if I say to you, today, that we jam out to this song live, would you come watch it on our YouTube channel? All hail Led Zeppelin

  • @ProtstTheFuckingHero i like both, but i agree that they sound more whole in the studio. that's cuz page can overdub several guitars in studio whereas live he has to make up for 1 or 2 missing guitar parts tho jonesy & jimmy together do it admirably. i do love the raw sound of live.

  • GO MONTREAL :D we love music... and this is sickkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • @gralith Seriously?! TO booed Led Zeppelin? Wow. This news makes me pissed off. Being Canadian I cannot believe that this could happen. Hmm I knew the crowd was very disruptive but I did not know that. Is that the reason they hardly ever played in Canada anymore after that?
