Yet another of AnointedHeathen's videos about the bible. He makes a challenge here that I am most likely unqualified for, but at least you can make use of the info. Below is the original description.

Continuation of the study of murder in the Bible.

Exodus 22:20
He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the Lord only, he shall be utterly destroyed.

Deuteronomy 13:
13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;
14 Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shall burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
17 And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the Lord may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he has sworn unto thy fathers;
18 When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the Lord thy God.

Leviticus 24:
10 And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;
11 And the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the Lord, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)
12 And they put him in ward, that the mind of the Lord might be shewed them.
13 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
14 Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
15 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.

  • what religion are you?????????????

  • I as the poster of this video, not the filmed subject, have no religion.

  • Yes God created life and he has the right to take it under his law as he chooses, you may or may not like it God is just. He judged the entire world long before Deuteronomy and killed all living except Noah. Jesus Christ came to fulfill not do away with the Law. Logically if you transgress an eternal infinite Being your punishment would be eternal and infinite. You are judging God and therefor proving his right to judge you. I want mercy not justice for I am guilty on many accounts.

  • A being cannot be merciful and just at the same time, to be just is to have no mercy, and to be merciful is to put aside any justice that was due, no matter the subtleties of the transgression. Noah's Ark is impossible to have occurred, by the way. But that is a whole other story.

  • Wow man, you're dumb. You think you understand what the Bible says just because you can read it?

  • Um, yes? Isn't that how you read a book of mythology?

  • @metaknight419 The Term of Peace and surrender in the bible is to be ( Slave)Deut 20:10-14 As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. , kill every man in the town.

  • Wow! Six whole words from someone who has nothing to say. Progress.

  • Moral codes? First of all, morality has to do with UNDERSTANDING the difference between right and wrong (not good and evil) It is, according to its definition, PROBABLE but not yet proven objectively. That means no one can put a finger on what the "moral code" really is. If 7 out of 10 people say something is "probable", then YOU says it is moral. Hence, the WE of which you speak. But, here is my question to YOU. What are YOU DOING about YOUR CODE? What do you KNOW other than insults?

  • we have moral codes you imbecile, we believe in good and evil, we also believe that philosophy, like utilitarianism, or ethics. gives us a good understanding of it.

    as well the nature of social animals repeatedly shows us universal good and evil. try reading about animal societies.

    why are you saying we are immoral when we argue that your book is immoral, do you think we have nothing to judge it by?

    if we had no moral standard, then, we wouldn't be able to argue the immorality of bible verses.

  • You're an Idiot...

    Sorry, you are...

  • You seem so proud to be an "atheist" yet you seem bound to things from which you claim to be free. Shouldn't you be out enjoying some worldly debauchery. Doesn't "atheism" afford you a such a carefree life? If not, what does it afford you. Without even knowing your answer, I am GLAD that I CHOSE the path that I now ENJOY. Do not feel as if you are trying to "enlighten" the poor Christian. You seem deprived enough for the both of us. I am resolved to stay my course. The end will tell all

  • Why would a person who does not believe in God even be bothered with a discussion about theology? Unbelief must be lonely. It just seems to me that YOUTUBE probably has some videos for you atheists. Why aren't you there? I will tell you why I am not there. I am not there because I have better things to do than to pick arguments with people who do not concern me. I MUST concern you. Afterall, you wish to argue with me about GOD, Who you claim does not exist. You're either silly or lonely

  • Fear, according to Webster's dictionary can be defined as 'to look upon with awe or reverence'. "Mongering" does not appear in any dictionary that I've read. So am I to assume that what you are saying is that I am "inciting" awe and reverence for the word of God? If it is, you are right. I do not apologize for it. It IS FOOLISH to twist the word of God. Also, I do not have to threaten you "atheist" with hell. A person who thinks himself to be his OWN god is already in hell.

  • "This sort of thing does not go without punishment Such speech is foolishness." That does sound like an threat to you? In any case it's about as laughable as me going up to you and saying you shouldn't mock Zeus's divinity or he'll smite you you with a lightning bolt. I'm assuming you don't believe Zeus exist so therefore such a claim would sound silly to you and a pathetic attempt at fear mongering. That exactly what your threats of hell and God's wrath sounds like to us atheists.
