  • There will NEVER be another Green hill tune EVER again. I'd go as far as to say this was the most poignant, nostalgic attack to the soul since ever. It's Incredible how this tune is poweful. It sold Sonic by itself. You just had to play the first level and listen to Green hill Zone and it was DONE! THE most memorable tune of Sega's history. It automatically reminds you of everything which was great about those golden days of our childhoods... A direct punch into all our collective hearts...

  • Sadly, this music is better than most of the music on the radio nowadays.

  • @AnimeMetalFan1 fucking true, mate

  • I'm back to my childhood listening to this. Thanks.

  • @guiquiguiqui The reason i said sadly is because the state of music today is bad that even classic video game music is better than "real" music nowadays.

  • @AnimeMetalFan1 I wouldn't say sadly because it's just as good as any other kind of music, just enjoy!

  • Sonic > Mario

  • @shinigami2026 No, he was just good at the game.

  • I love this game! everything in Sonic 1 was awesome.

from the gfx, sound to gameplay. 10/10
