had a orvis made stripping basket but i lost it to the surf! it got heavy because it would hold water. i would recomend drilling extra holes or get a basket with a vents on the sides. damn my ma gonna kill me if she heard how i lost a 60$ plastic tub....

I sort of knew about this home made idea but was on the cusp of ordering one anyway when I happened on this clip. I just saved myself £30 ($60). Thanks! The last time I went bass fishing it cost me 2 flylines that limpets latched onto.
