Have you seen the Real Sport's story on the loss of football in Grove City? Would you pay $750 a year for football in Grove City or your town? I wouldn't. That really should put it in perspective. Education or football. I'll pay to educate other people's children but I won't pay for them to have extra-curricular activities. Let their parents pay for that. How many boys on a football team? That's crazy.

Grove City won because of Piqua not being able to stop the run and a great game by that one GC receiver (#83?). Piqua's penalties and a late turnover for the winning TD were a factor, too. Piqua's defense in mid-to-late season was phenomenal but wasn't in the first game vs. GC. If you say Saine is all they had though, you only saw the GC game...you obviously didn't watch the playoffs with the QB and defense.
