This commercial features the famous (in South Africa) "Boet en Swaar" characters brilliantly portrayed by Norman Anstey and Ian Roberts. Set at the Horingboom Oasis, the language barrier proves a problem when a French rally driver finds himself in urgent need of some oil. Directed by Joni Botha.

My mother in law grew up in Van Zyl's on the Botswana border. Very special and remote place. Must have been even worse in the 50's when she grew up their. She was 23 when see saw the sea for the first time. Love this video.
