He apologized and that should have been enough. He stepped over the line and thats ABOUT IT.
People need to CALM DOWN. People have lost all sense of proportion.
Brand is a very funny and consistently inventive broadcaster and we have now lost one of the best radio shows on the BBC.
Thanks a lot Daily Mail!!!! You hypocritical bunch of petty minded morons.

Wasn't really much of an apolagy was it? Saying 'but it was quite funny though..' kind of takes the sincerity out of it.

@myownprivatevertigo The bit that was offensive was probably when he rang up an old man and laughed as him and his mate told him that he 'fucked' his grandaughter. If some teenage chav did it to some random old man i'd think he was a disrespectful twat. As it was two middle-age(ish) adults i think they were an even bigger pair of tossers who should know better. I still like both of them an i think Russel is generally hilarious but it doesn't change the fact he acted like a cunt in this instance.

I mean okay, he took it to far, & it got a bit unfunny. But it wasnt that bad. & it was quite clearly a joke.
Also, Andrew Sachs could have had the common decency to answer the phone when he had an organised interview!
& why did Sachs use the word 'devesated' to describe how he was feeling? Upset? Okay. Angry? Go for it. DEVESTATED? NO. What is devesating about it. Your granddaughers a slut, you must know that already.

We all have to do a Jesus routine now and again to make people aware of the control and the forgetfulness of the good people out there.
Most of them are good people. Others like to be controlled by the elite.
