The Saguaro Building at Mesa Community College's Red Mountain campus celebrates its setting and curriculum with unique architectural and sustainable strategies. The project includes instructional life science laboratories and classrooms as well as a multi-purpose performing arts classroom and theater. A 'snake wrangling area,' terrariums filled with Sonoran mammals and reptiles, and bat roosts designed into the side of the building are some unique features of this project.
