  • The wattsun solar tracker is on grid tied system. The tracking system runs on 24 volt supply that gets it's power from the grid. I have 2 solar systems both are grid tied. The wattsun has 1320 Watts and produces 2400 KWH a year. The other system has 1920 watts mounted on roof and it produces about 2000 KWH a year. Clearly the panels on the tracker produce significanly more power. The tracking motors only opperate when position adjustment is needed. So motor power consumption is low.

  • Power consumption on a typical Wattsun Solar Tracker is between 10 and 20 watt-hours per day.

  • some people said this traker runs on a 5watt panels.

  • The consumption of energy for the tracking is inferior to the eficiencia increase?
