Sexual Violence and Objectification of Women in Music Videos

This video shows how modern music videos are explicitly and subliminally sending messages that treating women like object and enacting violence and sexual abuse against them is acceptable. I believe this is perpetuating sexual violence and mistreatment of women in our society. We should be conscious of the media we are exposed to, and especially censor these types of "media entertainment" away from adolescents.

@DarkprinX2500 I see what you mean. That's just 21st century corruption for you. Yeah, women have been exploited long before, but it's getting worse as we progress in this century. Back then, it was considered immoral and not so lady-like for a woman to reveal so much skin (if any), now it's perfectly acceptable for a woman to walk almost completely nude down the street. But people are so used to the exploitation that it's practically apart of our culture.

I have to say that for one, the women are at fault and are exploiting themselves. No one is pointing a gun to their heads telling them to dress in revealing clothes and dance around like the whores they are in these videos. It's all voluntary. BUT, it's what the people want. Since this world revolves around sex, rappers make a fortune off of constantly talking about it in their songs because people (unfortunately) are accustomed to and enjoy listening to this crap.
