  • I climbed this mountain back in October 1983. Back then, there wasn't sentinel object atop of Bald Peak. I also remember then, 27 years ago. There were TREES everywhere. I did notice that there was logging, but would you say it was 'selective'? I've been to BC., where there's NOTHING left anywhere. Looks like the logging was or is planned. Great video, just the same. Thanks for sharing!

  • Sagamook would be the MTN to do this on.. Bald Peak is, however a very steep mtn!! Almost pioneered the first ski descent of Bald Peak in 2007 but snow was too deep to climb up... haha

  • This looks just like it does in Google earth!

Nice video, thanks for sharing it. Certainly a worthy peak to climb - looks like a technical launch.

We'll try to do the same for Carleton/Sagamook.

  • Good video!

  • Excellent recon Don, that's setting the stage. The mount at Carleton would be as remote as Riley Brook?...we will know soon how that one went, the boyz are on their way!

Nice job, well done, thanks for sharing.
