  • You say "turn that head" a lot. What is the difference if you turn your head or just use your eyes to look where you are going? Is there really a difference?

  • @TheTacticalBarrage there's a BIG difference, you MUST turn your head AND eyes, not just your head. If you do that, you'll never become a skilled rider. Head and eyes is probably the most important technique to master. I go over all of this in my book and video.

  • @motorman857 Jerry, I very seldom leave comments on YouTube, but feel compelled to after watching yours. I have ridden most everything on 2 wheels, and been doing it for 30 years. I have been through 2 different MSF courses in that time, but am just recently back on a bike after being without for 3 years. Your videos are invaluable, even for a safe, responsible rider like myself. You have taken my confidence and skill set to a new level. Repetition breeds proper form. Keep up the great work.

  • @37185one Glad I could help, correct, practice is the key to becoming the skilled and confident rider we all need to be out there on the streets. Thanks and keep riding safe.

  • thanks .all your training in flat ground but I have dropped my Electra glide making right u turn uphill I feel sad how I can do it again without dropping my big bike???

  • I've been practicing and riding using these techniques for a while, and the only thing I can't seem to find in the material, is body position. Am I supposed to be counterleaning, or should I act as I do at speed and lean in towards the inner mirror, for lack of better wording? Or am I somewhere in between? I've tried a variety of positions, and while some don't feel natural, they all seem to work.
