What starts as a failed attempt to create youtube's best "Saved by the Bell DVD" unboxing video ends in a philosophical discussion about time and the nature of collecting, relating the activity of physical musuems to the digital realm Facebook. Halo, Fight Club and the Shining abound.

As a collector I have to admit that this video revealed to me more about my habits than I would have thought it could have (also a rabid facebook user) .
The idea of using an object to preserve a memory is certainly one I can agree with. I find myself wary to sell or give away parts of my collection out of fear of not losing the item, which can always be replaced, but fear of forgetting the past connected to it.
Top notch video as always Kial.

Very insightful video and an awesome ending. Although I think it's important to archive certain elements of your life, even if they are a dramatization of your life. All of my videos about me and my friends are edited in a way to not only have a nice quick and conveniant rundown of the event or events, but to capture the spirit of the event as best as I can. Know one can really feel like they're actually there anymore cause the time has passed. But I can try to come close to what it was like.
