These potato plants are one month old. The potato is a Butter potato and is very good tasting.

  • So how did you store the potatoes from last year?

  • In a big bowl sitting on the cabinet

  • ROFL. So no freezing or stored in the dark or anything?

  • Just keep them cool and out of sun light.

  • You have to be careful growing food items in tires, they tend to leach chemicals. People who work at tire facilities are required to wear gloves - and for good reason.

    But for flowers and such tire planters are nice.

  • I have been told potatoes do better if you plant them on the dark side of the moon,and any other root crop will do better also.I have heard they will resist disease easier
