Potato Plants a month after planting

These potato plants are one month old. The potato is a Butter potato and is very good tasting.

Just keep them cool and out of sun light.

You have to be careful growing food items in tires, they tend to leach chemicals. People who work at tire facilities are required to wear gloves - and for good reason.

But for flowers and such tire planters are nice.

I planted about 5-6 potatoes this year for the

first time, they are now 2 - 3 months old,

I´m going to have a look tomorrow, nearly forgot them lol

how tall should the plant be when you first rake or hoe the dirt up around them?

I have been told potatoes do better if you plant them on the dark side of the moon,and any other root crop will do better also.I have heard they will resist disease easier
