I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOUR SENTIMENTS! you want to know why i quit rooting for the cubs and started rooting for the cardinals? well, besides liking the cardinals as a way of honoring my late papaw, the cubs DO NOT EVEN TRY TO WIN whereas the CARDINALS ALWAYS DO!!! the cubs remind me so much of my ex-wife - a bunch of f-------n LOSERS!!!!

@RickO4404 Hey can you tell me what the name of the organ jingle that was played just after the last strike when the cardinals won the world series in 2006? Its only 9 notes but I have always been curious what that is, and it sounds smiler to the one that was played after the win in 1982

Ernie Hays is arguably the best stadium organist who's still active with a major league team. Ernie is the St. Louis Cardinals and the Cardinals are Ernie. While most stadiums have more or less put their organists out to pasture in favor of canned music, Ernie still tickles the keyboards at Cardinals games. The late Paul Richardson of the Philadelphia Phillies was probably a close second to Ernie, but when the Phils moved to their new ballpark Paul got consigned to playing on the concourse.
