I think you're thinking of Kevin James. In the first movie he was played by John Goodman (Dan on Roseanne, the voice of Sully in Monsters Inc.)

I loved the animated Sper-Man series along with the Batman animated series, my sisters however thought that it was weird for a girl to watch those kind of shows. Well I didn't like the girly-girl shows that's for sure.

They have a Fox kids retro channel..... Because looking back I think kids in my generation had the best t.v. It brings a smile to my face thinking about sitting in my grandma's house on a Saturday morning
