this is in response to the "walk on water" fun. I wrote this poem when my daughter Lian was 2 years old...she now is eleven and is inventing new ways to walk.... I wrote the music tonight, and it's a little rough around the edges, but that goes along with the trip;) To my beautiful daughter....

recognition(who is that masked girl)

she doesn't
yet know she runs...

(can not heed
spiral down
staircases.

has not felt
the point of
tableedges.

sparkles of love
in our eyes
hold her heart.

kind voices
make reckless
no doubt.)

on water.

    Thanks (-:

  • Meant to type 'poem' typed 'song' instead, but a song is a poem, hehe. It's all good. :) Janet

  • Just beautiful, Michael, as refreshing as that waterfall you're showing. Lian is lovely as is your song and melody! It's cool to see another great challenge posted. :) Janet

  • @sherrylynn70 yes, and this brook is right behind Uncle David's house.....it runs into the Tioughnioga River which flows into the Chenango which then goes about 10 miles to where it runs into the Susquehanna in Binghamton...much history...much fun!
