@affiliate30 shut up

@1308lee His demo may not be the best but this would probably work better in compitition while in combination.
-
your technique... in a word... is shit.
-
I don't get how your calling this 1 step? There are 3 or 4 steps in this. For an actual one step Harai Goshi you have to swing your left leg in a big pivot behind his left leg and as you both turn, he will be in a perfect position for a Harai Goshi or tai o toshi
-
okay... I want to say you have very bad form... half ass harai.. follow through dude who you going to throw with that half in harai
-
This is more like, tai otoshi... Harai Goshi is a 'hip technique' not a 'hand technique'. the move shown here, is a 'hand technique'.
-
Thanks for the tip

It's not called kimono it's a gi kimono is what the geshia wear

@moorhouseschool Sorry that Tori is wearing a blue Kimono in front of a picture of Jiigoro Kano Sensei (they shouldn't), but this following video shows the proper way of applying the Harai Goshi technique (in right side Harai Goshi, Tori should attack uke just when uke right leg is starting to move forward watch?v=ysWDxR_hNpE (Never use a colored Kimono if not in competition, it is not polite)
hi i have to do this move for my grading and where shall i get my feet pos

@moorhouseschool in a normal right handed harai step in with your right foot so it's opposite and just in front your opponent's right foot. As you then turn on that foot try to bring your left foot in and place it between your opponent's legs (roughly in the middle). Common mistake is to leave the left leg (prop leg) too far away, but for harai you need to balance on this leg supporting your opponent's weight as you sweep with the right, so get it in there!

It seems more like an ashi guruma. harai goshi needs a bit more hip action, and in front of uke's hip. Its sort of between both throws, usually see a wheeling action in ashi guruma

The hip position is slightly different to classic harai, this is a variation. I still think it's harai as there is a definite reaping action. In ashi guruma the opponent is wheeled over the foot as you say, but the leg is in a more static position. Thank you both for your comments.

@add9259net Do you think is more useful for competitions to use the high grip like in Koshi Guruma and whre should I have to lookk, to the fron or diagonal? Thank's in advance.

@Dudongo86 Personal preference really, advantage is good control over your opponent's head but you have less options for other throws. Try using a lapel grip and a behind the shoulder grip and see which suits your style best. In this variation I would look towards your opponent's right front corner i.e. diagonal
