  • outdated already, watch my save money on fuel with one wire vid.

  • I grew up seeing those diesel engines with big flywheels on both sides of the engines in rice mills. Yes, this idea of flywheel stored energy makes sense. The public and investors should be educated on this. I don't see how it can fail.

  • Lets get some rough estimate going here. Radius r= 0.5m, tangential speed v = 2 Mach = 687m/s. w = v/r = 1373 rad/s, moment of inertia is tricky.. somewhere around ~200 kg*m² maybe? So one tank can store I*w² = 380 MJ ≃ 100 kWh. Another estimate to put it into comparison, during a day, a single person might use something like 5kWh. I assume these were only meant to stabilize part of the eletrical consumption, for periods shorter than a day, so they seem reasonable. Well.. that doesn't matter now

  • hey videoguy604 they went bankrupt.

    LOL

  • This stuff makes teabaggers angry.

  • 1:02 il gemello di Paolo Bonolis!!!!

  • Seems like good technology, especially if the efficiency is the same or better than pumped storage hydro. Plus those things look like they can be installed anywhere.

  • This is a great development. This seems so much more environmentally friendly than batteries. It's so much more durable too. These things could potentially last for decades. This technology also shouldn't be so affected by temperature. All in all, very exciting and promising.

  • good one,, advertising the flywheel technology ill give the society a hint to reduce their bills of electricity

  • it sound like they are useing some of joe newman ieas in this thing
