Croc-o-dial mechanical puzzle (Mathieu group)

Croc-o-dial mechanical puzzle (prototype version). The object is to get the coloured inserts back to their original order after scrambling them. The key can be inserted in 3 different ways to give 3 possible moves. There are 95,040 possible positions, which form the sporadic Mathieu Group M12.

Note that it was Prof.Igor Kriz of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, who came up with the idea to turn the M12 group into a puzzle. He published it in July 2008 issue of Scientific American issue. I am sure he'll like this implementation.
