You're not a JW but I have been for 22 years and believe me I have done much more research than this and KNOW that JW is an evil/false organization so Before you start defending this group get a COMPLETE view of them like i have and you will find out...soon enough. I can frankly give the society the benefit of the doubt from this issue but so much more is mounted on them that it wont even matter....they are WICKED.

question, in the it states "Mr. McCann has indicated that he donated the shares held by The Watchtower Society[...]" the Society could claim that they did not purchase the shares therefore they are not accountable for the purpose of the money (playing devil's advocate i guess. personally this just adds more weight to their heresy).

Why do JW's even comment or watch videos on you tube. I am pretty sure the society says that is considered bad association. They should just go back to sleep and read their watchtower and awakes. I am sure if their elders knew they were commenting on videos they would be very displeased. If it not OK to associate with worldly people why do they interact with people on line. JW go back to sleep

@dreammepr74 Hi again; let me correct you please. There are two corporations - Watchtower (one word) in Brooklyn (a non-profit) where donations are sent, and Watch Tower (two words) in Pennsylvania. Both are run by the same people. Check the inside cover of an English NWT bible and you will see that I am correct. Also, check this reference on the CD-Rom: "A gift annuity is an arrangement whereby one transfers money or securities to the Watchtower Society" (w01 11/1 p. 29).

I'm not a JW but I work at an Information Technology company and this could have been done by any other religious organization because there are OTHER religious organizations that have used the name: Watchtower for wicked purposes. Look into this matter, do research. Jehovah's Witnesses organization is called: Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society and not Watchtower Society...get the facts straight.
