#4 is not that big an engine, it is hand fired with wood and the D&S grade is a bit steep. All combine to restrict the load it can pull.

Yes it was. In the begining they used Pierce Arrows but as they wore out the RGS replaced them with GMC powered school busses. The GMC was unrepareable on number 5 so we replaced it with a Reo engine. It's done real well.

Yes, it really is. They didn't run the 315 on the D&S last year, but it will be there this year.
