underworld came out before twilight. does that mean they are copying underworld? OH WAIT, than daybreakers who is copying twilight who is copying underworld who is copying scooby doo, who is copying tales from the crypt who is copying dracula is all just a bunch of copycats. right?

You should read up on your Vampire lore. They're not as Blade and Underworld portray them. Twilight is one of the most popular things in the world right now, just because you don't like it doesn't mean it sucks. It's a love story, that is all.
This movie does however look awesome. You should be commenting about THIS movie, not about Twilight, that just shows how much of an influence it really has on you. :)

These movies are pretty different not to mention the fact that Twilight is influenced by the considerably superior books by Anne Rice.

Comparing Twilight to this is like comparing apples to oranges: two different things. The only thing they have in common is a love for bloodsucker mythology.

Anyhow, this looks like it's going to be my kind of vampire movie.

@SurfProduction: the vampires in this movie have yellow eyes, whereas the Cullens (who are complete wusses) have bronze colored eyes. If you think this is copying Twilight then you are a moron.

This isn't like twilight for 3 reasons:
1. It's visually pleasing.
2. It has good actors and actresses
3. It is imaginative and has an interesting story.

And to say it's copying twilight is to say that Twilight is copying Dracula. Twilight sucks, 14 year old girls made it what its.

How could someone even say that this is copying Twilight? If they honeslty think that the Twilight series is the first of the vampire genre they are mistaken.

Dracula has been around forever, and I'm pretty sure Blade came out way before Twilight. Just because 14 year old girls didn't love the movie doesn't mean it wasn't good. Twilight is the Disney of vampire movies...

oh my gosh this movie looks freaking awesome! i agree its way better then the teen vampire love crap with that twilight saga :p. this look so good! I'm going to see it! :D
