Yeah I've heard that too. Apparently Jerry Sharell thought that Kids Inc was going to be some sort of legitimate talent competition. Therefore he did not stay for season two. I believe now he is living in PA and still working behind the scenes in music. For my money Ryan was a better talent anyway

Remember the whole Brady Bunch thing with Robert Reed fighting with Sherwood Schwartz over that show's plot?
Apparently (from what I saw on Wikipedia, anyway) it seems something similar seemed to be happening here, which led to Jerry packing up after that inaugural season.

I like this betterthan the original, they make all the Rick Springfeild songs better

I like Jerry but he seems like he doesn't want to be there sometimes.

Ryan's voice was better, especially in his second and third year, and he had better chemistry with the girls. I like Jerry too, but Ryan was the best of all the guys in every respect.
