To use the rest of the space of your usb device as "regular hard drive storage"
Google "kb 981974" it's the first link. Ensure you follow OPTION 2!!!! Option 2 is:
Configure some (but not all) of the USB storage device's memory (up to 16 GB). Here's how: 1. Select Customize. 2. Move the Reserved Storage slider to select how much of the storage space on the device you want to configure for Xbox data storage.

@DarkTan1209 It will most likely format the entire hard drive, your best bet is probably picking up a 16gb flash drive
