  • did memphis bleek respond to Nas' verse on "da bridge 2001"?

  • I think Jay jumped in after that.

  • Hot shit... I remember when everyone & their momma was bumpin this shit in the hood.

Now these same clowns degrade Bleek and bump Bitchset's whack ass music.

  • It's just a sign of the times I guess. A proven talent like Bleek is forgotten while the Dipset gets all the attention even though they're not as good as Bleek or others rappers they try to get at.

  • @ValtteriVIP probably alot since nas felt threatened to diss that nigga, obviously if Bleek wasn't shit nas wouldn't even had dissed him first.....

  • @Brockthepain All the others were eventually terminated but, He still remained. petey crack, oschino, sparks, freeway, beans, in my opinion were all better rappers and potential sellers than bleek......i hov just wanted to take someone from his hood and make sucessful

  • @captcarisma911 uh what about young stef lol atleast bleek has a few gold selling albums and one shared platinum album with jay and beans.what about Christian and who ever that other singer was oh Rell.Bottom line Bleek had minimal success but he isnt the least successful protege by any stretch of the imagination.

  • Nas is my favorite rapper off all time but I like something bleeks made.We actually met before.Down to earth guy.I event told him this is probably his hottest record and he actually agreed with me.

  • The only good thing of this song is that it sparked the greatest rap feud ever

  • ja rule murdered the track. damn

  • used to have a dooope remix of this song wit mad cuts from like method man n shit was amazin' wish i still had it

  • memphis weak, has been jay's most unsucesssful protege

  • @knowledge876 Oh you didnt/ wanna know who's life was written/ The ice, The women, The cars & im em/...Nas The Bridge 2001...

  • @knowledge876 Actually Memph got at him first on "What you think of that". That's where the line "I'm a ball till I fall" was spit. On that same song, you can argue Jay's verse was going at Nas. Then Nas came back with Nastradamus which was definately a response. Then Memph responded back with this. I did like this track, but c'mon you know Nas ate him on Da Bridge 2001. His verse on that pretty much ended Memph's involvement in the beef.
