Cool. I got my truck running on WG too. I've found that processing the fuel first gets a MUCH cleaner gas than raw wood chips. It will also start way sooner, like a few minutes instead of 20min. cheers

nice start! I failed to power my lawn mower with wood gas: in the fact I ruined the motor as i had to disassemble it too often to clean it from tar.
i could not get the right air to gas ratio t o make it run. Maybe it is easier to start with a larger engine so that the ratio is not too important. maybe my gas was still to wet and too much tar.

Good luck and keep on trying

The easiest filtration system I have seen is to just pass the cooled gas through a barrel filled with hay or straw. As long as the gas doesn't burn the hay, it will be almost completely tar free.

Kewl My relitive pays 2,000 dollars a month in electric in the country. Been trying to find a cost effective way to generate electricity. Wind costs too much. They have car engines and lots of parts hanging around with pleanty of sticks, wood and grass.
