Three high-quality greats: The song An Die Musik, the composer Schubert, the baritone Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau.

What about Gerald Moore, probably the most famous and most sought after accompanist?

Schubert's ode of thanks, to music, for saving him when life's ups and downs were too much. He died at the age of 31 from syphilis and requested to be buried next to Beethoven, whose funeral he had attended only the year before. This is an old recording by the late Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, whom some say is the greatest Schubert interpreter ever.
