The Lineup (1958) Part 1 Directed by Don Siegel with Eli Wallach, Robert Keith, Richard Jaeckel, Mary LaRoche, William Leslie, Emile Meyer, Marshall Reed, Raymond Bailey, Vaughn Taylor, Cheryl Callaway, Robert Bailey and Warner Anderson
04:36 "And a rather unusual statuette" Most modern day audiences would have worked out the plot at that stage, but I suspect those were more innocent times
Great police chase scene in San Francisco in 1958 with Richard Jaekel as the wheel man. This chase scene was made and filmed 10 years before another great chase scene in San Francisco, the movie "Bullit" starring Steve McQueen.
Heavens to Sam Spade! THANKS for posting this excellent film noir from the late 50's. Top notch in every dept: cast, script, on location Frisco photography, etc. You've MADE my day & my weekend! :)
Thanks for the up..

Thank you for this posting. As a kid I love to watch San Francisco Beat. The series based this movie.
