This question will likely come off as confrontational - it's not intended to be - I just wish to express concern about the mechanics.

The game's subtitle is "Orbital Battleship Maneuvers" but as far as I can tell the ships don't maneuver at all. They just sit there and launch broadsides at each other.

Unless of course there's an aspect to the gameplay that I'm not aware of that would compensate for this. Otherwise it might be a weakness in the game's mechanics..just sayin'!

The ships do move, though you're right in that this video doesn't display that well at all! Combat focuses on flanking the enemy to hit their weak spots.

I highly encourage you to watch my "Flotilla gameplay" demonstration video that shows how the fleets maneuver (it's under the "More From: BlendoGames" tab to the right).

No offence but this game is just Homeworld with crappy graphics, no story, and no resource management/gathering.

Do a Youtube search for Homeworld to see the HUGE difference. Get the real DO NOT accept the fake :)

Any youtube links to homeworld vids in comments are also blocked ..... LMFAO .... what are the devs scared of.

@AnonymousGerman When you start a new game, click on the Hardcore button. That extends your adventure and makes the enemies tougher.

One of the best space related games I've ever played and reminded me why I like video games in the first place.
