@vwilkins4 So you prefer the thousands of innocent deaths and millions of tax dollars spent to a society in which one can choose whether or not to use a certain substance?
-
@TheBigBadWoIf anyone who read 1984 will know this, its so scary that it really is here, this book became reality

Dear Built-Ford-Tough Motor Co.,
Your charity and generosity is one reason I love you. As you know, good deeds are good business. So I have an idea for you.
How would you like to empower inner city kids with the wild and free American spirit of music? We can build a music center on the poor side of the tracks in my city (Columbus, Ohio), fill it with guitars, drums, and pianos, hire some music teachers, and invite all the neighborhood kids to come in and play this song:
MUSIC, NOT DRUGS!
Thanks.

When an inefficient, costly, and obviously failed system is continuously marched out touted as the only option, by people who have enough brains, and enough time, and enough advisors to know better........you must ask yourself why? Who is benefiting?

man..These motherfuckers failed for over 40 years and they still keep going?!

I think that lifting the Prohibition would not be the greatest idea considering the damage that comes from irresponsible drinking alone. I would say that there would be many many more drug addicted people in the USA if drugs were legal.
-
Legalize drugs, end the violence. Just like it did in prohibition.
Now. If an under achiever who had terrible grades in school(me), can come to this conclusion.(I NEVER used any illicit drugs btw.)
Don't you think these politicians with B.A's and P.h.D's don't know it too?
Think people.....
Why are they REALLY doing this?

I Am A Victim Of Tha American Drug War...ALL OF MY DRUG PROBLEMS WERE DUE TO PROHIBITION & CRIMINAL PUNISHMENT...i have never been in a fight or violent situation and they are taking away my freedom...they have taken so much time & money from me...i have a bad feeling sendin me to jail will only make me violent and angry
The war on drugs, like the wars on poverty, terrorism and all the other social boogie men, is designed to give people a warm, fuzzy false sense of security. Makes them feel as if their tax dollars are going toward a worthy cause.

@ACORNSUCKS Maybe we, as jurors, should stop convicting people no matter the evidence. Put the law under trial rather than the defendant. After all, the federal government understood that a Constitutional Amendment was needed to prohibit alcohol. They do not have the Constitutional authority to make such proclamations. States do, but not the federal government. Therefore, jurors have every right in the world to nullify the law at the trials of drug offenders.
